Hello! I believe in helping others conquer their internal seeds of destruction which may not be easy, but I'm here to help you in every way possible. I am a Certified Life Coach with an emphasis on Christian beliefs and values, an author, and a motivational speaker. Every Monday to Friday, I also have a radio program with podcasts available to listen to as I share how people can conquer their seeds of destruction. Although things may seem challenging and difficult in life, I hope you will give yourself permission to embark on this journey with me and most importantly with God, so that we can conquer your seeds of destruction together!
Why Did I Write Conquering the Seeds of Destruction?
I had just come out of my divorce and then I asked God, “What do I do now?” I had always wanted to be married so when it ended, I felt as if I had failed and disappointed God in keeping the family unit intact. As a woman, I had believed that it was my job to keep the family home in order and in balance, so I didn’t feel as if I had fulfilled my purpose. Even though I was operating in my career in the pharmaceutical industry and now had become a full-time mother overnight, I still struggled personally. It was at that point that I read the book, Purpose Drive Life by Rick Warren. After reading it, God told me to share my story.
Initially, I was fine with sharing a "few" things. As time went on, He continued to share with me that I had to reveal more than what I was wanting to share and even admit too. I had always grown up that “what goes on in the house, stays in the house." Therefore, I had to go into some deep prayer if I was going to disclose what I thought was just between God and me.
Needless to say, I soon discovered that the book would evolve into a whole different type of book. I would analyze people’s lives in the Bible while telling a story and making it relatable to the everyday person. The goal would be to share a step-by-step downward progression of how our own choices and decisions can cause destruction, especially if God is not in the decision-making.
The ultimate expectation would be for each person to connect and to form a close and personal relationship with God. He would help you come out of your challenging situations and patterns, just as He did with the people in the Bible. Ultimately, you would see the true lessons of what you are to learn from each person He placed in the Bible. He would also sharpen your life in such a manner by teaching you how to operate as a child of God and by equipping you to help and love others along the way.
How Do You Get Destructive Seeds To Form Into Your Life?
Let me first just say that life can be hard. We all hear that life is what we make of it. Although there is a lot of truth to it, it becomes more difficult to make things happen for you when you get hurt, or disappointed, or stuck, or defeated, or just lost and you don’t know which way to go.
When those type of things happen, what do you do? How do you keep pushing through it? If you don’t make a decision or if you don’t put the work into it, then those are the times that the first seeds of destruction can be planted into you based on your response of not wanting to deal with a situation or not knowing how to handle it.

Gossip
Pride
Miscommunication/Misinterpretation
Loneliness
Lust
Greed
Jealousy
Hunger
Bitterness
Violation
Disapproval
There are approximately twelve destructive seeds that I share in the book and several additional ones will be added down the road on the podcasts. If the seeds are not destroyed in the beginning, there are three additional roots that come out of each seed that is planted into you. As a result, there is the possibility of sixty-two roots that can be formed if you choose to operate in your own desires. I am not a betting person, but I do believe you might have a seed or two (and some possible roots) here or there that you want to conquer, and I will help you in this journey of doing just that...conquering your seeds of destruction. I am here to encourage you and to challenge you to reach your greatest potential of being the child of God that He has called you to be. It is now time to break the patterns that may exist and uproot them for good.
What Will It Take From You?
It will take some intentional time that you spend with Jesus. It will take for you to have the courage to re-live those difficult situations that keep you from either being positive or progressing forward. It will take some time for you to put the work and effort into overcoming those situations. Let me add…don’t be afraid because I will be with you also helping you, supporting you, praying with you, guiding you, and teaching you how to handle and resolve those things. More importantly, Jesus will be there also.

Who is This Book for?
This book is designed for young or old, male or female, or anyone needing some extra help or a “push” to get over the hump. The recommendation is to read at least the first six chapters but a minimal of the first three chapters. Although I encourage you to read the whole book AND do the work in the workbook, you can skip around and work on the chapter that you have the greatest need to uproot a lethal behavior.
